In Spring 2004, I participated in the 3month artist residency program at John Michael Kohler Art Center in Iron Foundry. I casted over 900 lb of iron sculptures, using the body parts of cultural pop icons with the characteristics of traditional iron work of Japan, making hybrid of East and West, new and old.
